Shop for Vintage Patterns

Welcome to Sew! Fuzzylizzie

Sewing has made a real comeback in the past few years, and many people search out vintage patterns and fabric.  Perhaps this is due to the interest in vintage clothing, or maybe people are in training to be the next contestant on Project Runway, but whatever the reason,  sewing in general and vintage patterns in particular have caught the fancy of many style loving people.

I'm a long-time collector and seller of vintage patterns and clothing.  I offer a carefully edited selection of vintage sewing patterns from the 1920s through the early 1970s.

Unless noted, each pattern is complete and usable.  I count the pieces of each pattern and note any alterations or defects to each in my listing.  I offer only the best designs from each period.

Besides patterns, I also have vintage sewing related books, and a small, select grouping of vintage fabric.  And if you also love vintage clothing, I have a top quality selection at fuzzylizzie.com.

Besides shopping, please check out my articles on topics relating to vintage sewing.  I'm always getting interested in something new, so check back often for the latest.

A Little About Me

I started sewing in 1965 at the tender age of 10.  I was lucky to have an expert sewer with the patience of Job as a teacher - my grandmother.  That's her in the picture above.  All through junior high and high school, I made almost all of my own clothes.  Living in North Carolina meant I had easy assess to cheap, high quality fabric through the area's many textile factory outlets.

I'm a retired teacher who has had a life-long love of history, and this love has led me to become a student of fashion history.  This led me to the Vintage Fashion Guild, where I am the manager of the VFG Label Resource.  I also write articles for my own site, some of which are also here on Sew! Fuzzylizzie.  And to see the latest in my quest for style, check out my on-line journal, Lizzie's Vintage Travel Journal.
